LPG bottles on steep blocks

Cylinders should stand upright on a firm, level base, outdoors, with ventilation, away from drains and ignition sources, and with safe access for the delivery driver. Since 1 April 2022, new and retested LPG cylinders come with LCC27 valves and new portable appliances have LCC27 connections. Do not use adaptors between POL and LCC27 fittings. Cylinder test dates are valid for 10 years; exchange bottles that are out of date through an LPG retailer, and never attempt to refill one yourself.
