Is ducted right for your Windsor house?

Ducted suits homes with four or more rooms to cool, a usable roof space and owners who want one quiet system rather than several wall units. It is less suited to a small unit or a single room, where a split system is usually the better fit. We look at the house and how you use it before recommending either.

Zoning and return air

A typical Windsor layout might zone bedrooms separately from the living and kitchen area. Where the return air grille goes matters as much as the outlets: it needs a clear path back from each zone, usually through a hallway, and should not sit right outside a bedroom door where its sound carries.
